Portion of Determination

Originally written and published in Spanish on December 17, 2012

When we understand that we have been called to establish the Kingdom of God on earth, when we understand that we will be in constant warfare against the enemy precisely because we were created with a purpose, to enlarge His Kingdom, to establish it and to bring freedom to the oppressed; when we understand that we will face these types of attacks in our daily lives, it is then we realize that we need to fill ourselves with faith and determination, it is imperative! Such faith and absolute determination to be able to conquer certain territories for the Lord. It is necessary to be filled of the Word of God that nurtures us, encourages us and fills us so that we can be conquerors, to be sons and daughters of faith, to be bold and have such boldness that leads us to conquer, establish His Kingdom, heal the sick, bring freedom to the captive...  I once heard a pastor speak of such determination and absolute faith, one that brings us to conquer. A bold faith and determination, which is what God is looking for in His children. A type of faith and determination, that no matter what circumstances are surrounding us, no matter what we perceive in the natural, it pushes us and challenges us to reach those blessings God has, to reach the depths of His heart to receive the answers we desire, to see the call He has placed in our hearts fulfilled.

Today I want to share with you these Scriptures so that they can raise our determination so that we will be able to see in the spirit and that we can call what is not as if it were... So that we can be a people determined to see God's Kingdom established on earth with signs, miracles and wonders... May we unsettle this world and be agents of change for Christ!

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].
-1 Corinthians 15:58

However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves. We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed...  -2 Corinthians 4:7-9

For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. -Isaiah 50:7

Be strong, therefore, and let not your hands be weak and slack, for your work shall be rewarded.

And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. -Galatians 6:9

He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved.

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world... -1 Peter 5:8-9

Today I declare that your eyes are opened to each attack that the enemy will send to your life, that no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper and that you are filled with determination, passion, boldness to answer your call and purpose for which you were created. I declare that you put much effort in all you do and that you don't faint or lose heart until you see in the natural what you've been seeing in the spiritual.  Get up and conquer!

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Portion of Blessings

Originally written and published in Spanish on December 31, 2012

Declaring ALL these blessings over our lives today! May Abba, our Father, fill your life, your family, home, ministry, business, work, job, and church with infinite and abundant blessings and mercies each day of your life!!! Decree and declare these Scriptures over your life each day, as many times as you want... take the Word of God as your Daily Portion and watch how His Word will be made alive and effective in your life.  BLESSINGS!

For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor). -Psalms 5:12

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who fears, reveres, and worships the Lord, who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. For you shall eat [the fruit] of the labor of your hands; happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) shall you be, and it shall be well with you. -Psalms 128:1-2

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
 -Psalms 24:4-5

And I will confirm with them a covenant of peace and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land, and [My people] shall dwell safely in the wilderness, desert, or pastureland and sleep [confidently] in the woods.
And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing, and I will cause the showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing [of good insured by God’s favor].
And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit and the earth shall yield its increase; and [My people] shall be secure in their land, and they shall be confident and know (understand and realize) that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them. -Ezekiel 34:25-27

May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!  -Ephesians 1:3

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; we bless you from the house of the Lord [you who come into His sanctuary under His guardianship].  -Psalms 118:26

[No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith].  -Romans 10:12

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You choose and cause to come near, that he may dwell in Your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. -Psalms 65:4

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!
-Psalms 31:19

And solemnly lifting up His eyes on His disciples, He said: Blessed (happy—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition—and to be envied) are you poor and lowly and afflicted (destitute of wealth, influence, position, and honor), for the kingdom of God is yours!
Blessed (happy—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition—and to be envied) are you who hunger and seek with eager desire now, for you shall be filled and completely satisfied! Blessed (happy—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition—and to be envied) are you who weep and sob now, for you shall laugh!
Blessed (happy—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition—and to be envied) are you when people despise (hate) you, and when they exclude and excommunicate you [as disreputable] and revile and denounce you and defame and cast out and spurn your name as evil (wicked) on account of the Son of Man.
Rejoice and be glad at such a time and exult and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is rich and great and strong and intense and abundant in heaven; for even so their forefathers treated the prophets.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse—
The blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day...

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves]. -Genesis 12:2-3

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage. -Psalms 33:12

You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways. -Job 22:28

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Peace In The Midst Of The Storm

Originally written and published in Spanish on October 29, 2012

Blessings to each one of you.  Today I feel the desire to share with you all, my friends, a few Scriptures that speak of Peace. It doesn't matter what situation it is you are going through, remember that the Peace of Christ is yours!  He gave it to us by giving His life and shedding His blood on the cross, and by resurrecting on the third day.  I say to you right now, get rid of all anxiety and all spirit of torment and pain that wants to come to take away God's Peace! Take that Peace, it's yours, He gave it to you and with that Peace you will conquer!

The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace. - Psalms 29:11

Finally, brethren, farewell (rejoice)! Be strengthened (perfected, completed, made what you ought to be); be encouraged and consoled and comforted; be of the same [agreeable] mind one with another; live in peace, and [then] the God of love [Who is the Source of affection, goodwill, love, and benevolence toward men] and the Author and Promoter of peace will be with you.  - 2 Corinthians 13:11

Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. -Romans 8:6

Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.
-Psalms 119:165

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. -Isaiah 26:3

And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].  -James 3:18

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. -Proverbs 16:7

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] -John 14:27

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. - Colossians 3:15

And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
 -Philippians 4:7

May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. -2 Peter 1:2

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

SPEAK LIFE!

SPEAK LIFE!

Why is it that we tend to forget just how powerful our words are? We should always speak positive words. The fact that negative words hurt does not only apply to others, it applies to ourselves. That's why, no matter what type of situation I am in, I refuse to speak negative words. That is why I will always say I am blessed, favored, prosperous, healthy, loved, and joyous, and I don't believe anything less! Our situation around us can look different and negative, but when we keep our words positive and we speak over our lives and situation, those words are powerful! Remember that the next time you say something about your life or situation... speak life, not death (positivity not negativity)!

I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live...  -Deuteronomy 30:19

A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].  -Proverbs 18:20-21

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

God's Mercy

Originally written and published in Spanish on September 27, 2012
Continuing with this precious theme, I want to share a few Scriptures that speak about God's Mercy, so that you can have them with you in your mind, heart and spirit. If we carry and believe these promises in our hearts, our faith will grow more and more and we will be able to obtain the Victory faster, because we have believed, understood and are living His truth of His Word.

Blessings to you this day, as you read this Daily Portion, it is my declaration for you, that you are able to see His Mercy alive in your life and that you may know and comprehend with each beat of your heart that He desires to give you His favor, goodness and mercy each morning. Receive it and stand up, confident that your day will be full of blessings!

For He Who is almighty has done great things for me—and holy is His name [to be venerated in His purity, majesty and glory]! And His mercy (His compassion and kindness toward the miserable and afflicted) is on those who fear Him with godly reverence, from generation to generation and age to age.  Luke 1:49-50

I will recount the loving-kindnesses of the Lord and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His mercy and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses.  For He said, Surely they are My people, sons who will not lie [who will not deal falsely with Me]; and so He was to them a Savior [in all their distresses].  In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
 -Isaiah 63:7-9

Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...
1 Peter 1:3

...You know how we call those blessed (happy) who were steadfast [who endured]. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the Lord’s [purpose and how He richly blessed him in the] end, inasmuch as the Lord is full of pity and compassion and tenderness and mercy.....  James 5:11

"I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion (pity) on whom I will have compassion." So then [God’s gift] is not a question of human will and human effort, but of God’s mercy. [It depends not on one’s own willingness nor on his strenuous exertion as in running a race, but on God’s having mercy on him.] -Romans 9:15-16

For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath.  Deuteronomy 4:31

Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever from of old.
Remember not the sins (the lapses and frailties) of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your mercy and steadfast love remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
  Psalms 25:6-7

Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.
 Psalms 23:6

But this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation:  It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness. -Lamentations 3:21-23
It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Portion of Mercy

Originally written and published in Spanish on September 27, 2012

I want to share with you all about a topic that is very important. God's Mercy. We are all familiar with the Scripture: Lamentations 3:21-23:  "But this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation: It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness.
We know that God's mercies are new, but, do we really understand what that means? The simple fact that God gives us new mercies each morning should be enough for us to take on each day with joy, determination and perseverance, knowing we will achieve what we have set out to do in our hearts. Why? Because His Mercies are new each morning!!  Because whatever happened yesterday is in the past and it should not affect me. Today is a new day, a new morning and I should be completely sure that today my Father is with me, His favor and blessing and mercies are with me!!

"Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.." - Psalms 23:6
This promise should be engrained in our hearts each morning when we wake up, and each night before we sleep!! His mercies are new each morning and they follow me. I don't look for them, they follow me! That's how good and generous and loving our Father is. His mercies, His favor, His goodness is for me and He gives then to me EACH DAY. I don't have to work or fight for them, I don't have to wonder if I behaved good or bad, ha, His mercies are mine, and they are new each morning and He sends them to me! Now that deserves a shout of Praise! Hallelujah!!!

Have you ever wondered why there are days when we wake up upset or angry or cranky? Why is it that sometimes after sleeping the entire night, I wake up sad, depressed, worries or cranky? I heard a pastor once say that this happens because the enemy knows that God's mercies are new each morning and because he knows, he wants you to wake up upset, depressed, angry so that you won't come before God's presence to receive those mercies and blessings, that favor, all that goodness that He has for you. It was like a light bulb went on when I heard that!  Yes, it's true! The devil's intention is to destroy you, make you lose focus, trick you, and he knows that when we wake up, the first thing we should do is come before the Lord, give Him honor and glory and acknowledge His mercies and favor... and He is there, waiting for us to come and receive with open arms what He has for us. So, the devil begins to bring thoughts into our minds early in the morning to distract us from those mercies that are new for us each morning. We cannot allow the enemy to come and steal our mercies and blessings. Our Father is faithful and loving, He awaits for us with open arms, with blessings, favor, goodness and mercies each new morning. We should wake up to give Him glory and thank Him for a new day. We need to get used to when we open our eyes, we need not think of anything else, don't think of the time, the things we need to do, just think of your Father, hugging you and giving you His mercy and favor, his blessing and goodness to start your day with joy and do everything you do in joy. Just hear Him say, "Good morning my son, daughter, here is my gift to you, it's new mercies that are yours each day, favor and blessings and goodness for you to rejoice in all you do..." I know that if we get used to saying Good Morning to our Father, and if we come in gratitude and gratefulness into His presence and receive what He has for us, our days will be better, we will conquer, we will fight and overcome and win!  What else do we need? He said we are more than conquerors through Jesus, if we have Him on our side, who cares who is against us!?!?

I declare that each morning as you wake, you get up with new strength and with your spirit full of thankfulness to receive His Mercies, which are new! I declare that as you begin your day with thanksgiving, giving your Father a smile, talking to Him before going about your day and receiving all He has for you, you will see His glory and His presence in your life and in your daily walk! Don't let anyone or anything steal your mercies! They are yours, He has given them to you each morning!  Take them and go conquer!!

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

By HIS Stripes!

Originally written and published in Spanish on August 15, 2012

It is necessary to understand that when sickness comes in the form of an attack on your body, we have the answer at the tip of our tongue! If Christ is your Savior, if you have confessed with your mouth that He is your Lord, if you have repented for your sins and have given your heart, soul and life to Him then you have all authority and benefit and right to claim His precious blood, blood that restores, transforms and renews, over your body and your life. You have the authority to command your body to align to the Scriptures. Declare over your body each day, that you are healed. Put your hands over the affected areas and declare and pray these Scriptures over your body. No demon of sickness has any power or authority over your body, because your body has been bought and cleansed by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. By dying on the cross and resurrecting, He conquered death and all principalities... If HE is for us, who can be against us?  He has the authority and power, He triumphed over the cross and the devil pig-dog is under our feet!!!

I share with you these Scriptures so that each day, you can nurture your body with a Word that is Alive and sufficient to heal. Command that sickness to go out of your body in the name of Jesus! You have the authority.... what are you waiting for?

For even to this were you called [it is inseparable from your vocation]. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example, so that you should follow in His footsteps. He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips.  When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly. He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed. -1 Peter 2:21-24

Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified); To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit. -Galatians 3:13-14

For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no one seeks after and for whom no one cares! -Jeremiah 30:17

Behold, [in the future restored Jerusalem] I will lay upon it health and healing, and I will cure them and will reveal to them the abundance of peace (prosperity, security, stability) and truth. -Jeremiah 33:6

And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. -James 5:15

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. -Isaiah 53:4-5

And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me. And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed. -Matthew 8:2-3

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases. -Matthew 8:16-17

Here are more:
Psalms  103:2,3,5
Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—
Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

Psalms 107:20
He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.

Proverbs 3:7,8
Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.
It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.

Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.

Matthew 4:23,24
And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people.
So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them.

Matthew 8:5-13
As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him, And saying, Lord, my servant boy is lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains. And Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him.  But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.  For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard him, He marveled and said to those who followed Him [who adhered steadfastly to Him, conforming to His example in living and, if need be, in dying also], I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.  I tell you, many will come from east and west, and will sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,
While the sons and heirs of the kingdom will be driven out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment.

Luke 4:18
" The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity]..."

I Thessalonians 5:23
And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

I tell you in the name of Jesus, declare your healing today! Declare these Scriptures over your life, your body, your mind and receive your healing. Christ already did it, He just waits for you to receive it!!

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Portion of Strength

Originally written and published in Spanish on April 12, 2012

It is beautiful to wake up to a new morning with joy and with a song of praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It is beautiful to come into your Father's presence with gratitude and to be able to open your heart before Him to honor Him, bless Him, love Him, and thank Him and to also ask, seek, wait on Him, declare His promises for your life and to sing to Him. When you come before Him with an open heart, something beautiful happens, He responds and puts Peace in your heart and He speaks to your spirit.

This morning, I want to give you some words of strength and motivation:

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. -Isaiah 40:31

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. -Isaiah 41:10

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever. -Psalms 73:26

But I will sing of Your mighty strength and power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy and loving-kindness in the morning; for You have been to me a defense (a fortress and a high tower) and a refuge in the day of my distress. -Psalms 59:16

In this moment, put your feelings and emotions and how you "feel" to the side and just enter into God's presence, begin to sing and praise Him. He will flood your heart with strength and peace and will give your spirit a fresh Word that will change in an instant, your situation. Declare His love over your life, sing to Him and let Him sing to you as well.

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Portion of Perseverance

Originally written and published in Spanish on April 10, 2012

In front of my house, there's a tree. On this tree and in front of my house there are always birds flying and walking around and resting around the area. Each morning, I can hear the birds chirping and singing. There are always a few birds there and each bird sings differently. As I pray each morning, I can hear them singing. Today, as I prayed, my spirit began to rest in Christ, in His work on the cross, on His blood that was poured out... And, as I rested in Him, the sound of the birds singing filled my room and I could see the nurturing, tender aspect of God's nature, and I could see how He takes care of His Creation.

It really is interesting to see how those birds are always in that tree in front of my house, during the entire year. Winter passes, the tree has no leaves, it is covered in snow and even then the birds are there. Spring arrives, the tree has grown its leaves, so full that we cannot see much outside the window due to the fullness of the tree. And, there are the birds, they remain singing and flying around.

How difficult it is for us sometimes to rest during a "winter" situation, where it seems like there is no fruit or bloom, everything has died, it is cold and at times lonely; where it quickly grows dark and there are even days where the sun does not appear.  Did you know that even in the middle of winter, the birds still sing? Even in the midst of coldness and darkness, the bird is still in its tree... Maybe you will say that he remains there because he has no where to go; or because he doesn't know any better.  And, yes, that may be a reason. But, I believe that it goes beyond that. I believe that the bird continues to sing and remains in his tree, because he knows that Winter will pass and that soon Spring will be here. Sometimes it's much easier for us to stop fighting when the winter situation comes along, and we tend to hide, hibernate, forgetting where we stand.... but if we let winter come and take our place, we lose all we have been fighting for, and then when spring comes, when the fruit starts to grow, we won't see a harvest because we stopped fighting...

I am not sure if you understand me, but I want to tell you today to not stop fighting, nor get out of your place. You have stood in your place and have lasted there for a long time, you've taken your position and there have been situations and attacks in your life that have wanted to knock you down.  I tell you now, persevere!  Don't give up!  You are so close to your Spring, your fruit will begin to blossom and grow! Maintain your position and stance and sing like the bird. Worship God, praise Him, shout with victory and declare and decree that your season is here. Rejoice in Spring and show your fruit for the Kingdom! You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus! Persevere, remain, fight, and remember that the Victory is yours!

In the midst of it all, rest in Christ, He paid it all for you and for me. Come before His presence and rest in Him, find the Peace that only He can give and next time you hear a bird sining, give thanks to God because if He takes care of the birds, He will certainly take care of you and your family and your needs....

- Galatians 3:13-14

Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? - Matthew 6:26

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ase and relieve and refresh your souls.] - Matthew 11:28

As you have therefore received Christ, [even] Jesus the Lord, [so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves) in union with and conformity to Him. Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Portion of Perspective

Originally written and published in Spanish on March 23, 2012
As I meditated this morning on my life and what's going on, and on the need that we as humans have to know who that we are valuable and loved, suddenly these words came to my spirit and I decided to write them on Facebook:   I want to let you know that God has a purpose for you and that His love is yours, unconditionally!
They seem like really simple words, but they carry a big meaning; so big that at times we tend to forget it! Yes, at times we forget that God's Love is ours, unconditionally; we forget that He has a purpose for us. Our minds and our emotions play with us until at times we get to a place where we think we are useless and we even start to wonder "why am I here", "what am I doing with my life"?  We spend the day with so much on our minds and so many things to do and then, all of a sudden, God pats us on the shoulder and reminds us of His love, of His purpose and of His mercies, which are new each morning. That is when we pause and we realize that in the midst of everything that is surrounding us, we have a defined purpose, and we can begin to bring order to our thoughts and situations and emotions and feelings that want to unbalance us and bring chaos.
How do I know I have a purpose? Well, because my Daddy did not create me just because, or coincidentally, nor was I an "accident" of my parents. I have great value in my Father's eyes. I have a great destiny and purpose here on Earth because He did not create me without a purpose or without meaning. I know this because since He created me, He saw me.        For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery]. Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.  -Psalms 139:13-16
From Creation, God already had a plan. This plan included you and me. When He "sees", it's not simply as you and I see or understand the word to mean.  "See" is examine, study, take time and detail with each gifting, talent and characteristic unique to us, with which He created us. How then is He not to give us purpose when He not only created me, but He saw me and He wrote in His book all the days He gave me even BEFORE I existed. Our Father is a Father of details who doesn't do anything just for doing something. He has a plan and a purpose for your life and it is only through His love and His presence that you will be able to discover that purpose for your life.
How do I know what my purpose is?  By asking my Father to reveal it to me, to show it to me, to tell me and put ideas and fresh revelation in my spirit to be able to understand what my purpose is. My purpose, just like yours is to make a difference in this world, it's to Worship Him. How we do it is the key. He puts in our hearts the passion and idea and calling to develop our gifting and talents and to put them to His service and use. Talk to your Father today and ask Him to show you your purpose. By doing this, you will understand and begin to experience such great Love that He has for you, a Love that is unconditional that gives you the strength to go conquer your territory, it's yours!

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle

Do Not Conform!

A Daily Portion

This is a thought that has been on my mind for some time now, and last night, I decided to write it down and share it on Facebook.  Well, after seeing it ministered to some people and it was shared by a few, I thought I'd put it in my blog for anyone who may come across it and have it also speak to them.
DO NOT CONFORM!

You will not hear me say "good luck" because I don't believe in luck, I believe in God's blessings and favor; so I say you're highly favored and blessed! You will not see me throw myself a pity party post on facebook or anywhere else, nor will I attend yours because I know who I am in Christ, I'm a conqueror and I'm seated in high places, I am a friend of God; besides, me telling you what you want to hear at your pity party won't help you in the end, you need to know who you are as well! You will not call me a people pleaser because I am a God follower, I'm here to do God's will, to love my friends and enemies, and to be a light, even if it makes someone uncomfortable. You will not see me hiding in fear nor give up on my vision, because I have been created to let His light shine and be a city taker for His Kingdom!  #iamlimitless

"So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you." -Romans 12:1-2 [MSSG]

It is my prayer that this reflection be a part of your daily portion.

Love & Blessings,
Michelle
